Art & Craft

Art & Craft describes a wide variety of activities involving making things with one’s own hands. Through art & craft children learn to value and appreciate artifacts and images across cultures, children enjoy art and craft. Experts say that it is important way to help children grow and develop. There will be a motor skill development, literacy skill increases which allows developing their creativity and self esteem. It enables them to reflect critically on their own work and those by others. They learn to act and think like designers and artists. in our school art & craft classes is introduced from Grade-1 onwards.


Drawing is one of the ways to express the feelings. It plays an important role inchild’s cognitive development. It helps to learn to write and think creatively. Develops eye hand co ordination and imagination. From drawing stick figures to putting splashes of colours from the paint on their fingers, it is something they enjoy thoroughly and that should always be encouraged. Giving a child the freedom to draw means that they can create anything they want. It allows us to see what they are thinking. Handwriting improvement can be seen. It helps to build visual skill. Children are able to play around with and transform their ideas.


Neurophysiology and other sciences show that music has big influence on children’s cognitive development. It increases the human connections, stress relief. It integrates many different subjects, teaches discipline, and increases IQ points. Singing together makes children to work together, increases bonding among them. Concentration will increase.

Physical Education

It is known fact that P E classes are great for child’s development. Research has shown that P E builds brain cells. Physical Education makes miracle growth for the brain. It inspires self discipline. Students are taught life skills that can be used forever. It improves peer relationship by way of team spirit. Communication skill and socializing with others can be achieved. It is a stress reliever and improves mood. It teaches goal setting by way of assuming responsibility, competence, and increases motivation skill. All these makes the children to achieve better grades academically so 1 period is allotted for PE all the children.


To have healthy lifestyle, yoga is a must for school children who face stress life now days. Yoga is practice in our school from Grade-1 onwards.

Learning yoga at an early age can have lasing immense benefits on the overall health and on well being of the students. Regular practice will result in improving posture, increases in lung capacity, memory boost. It helps us to develop a positive attitude. It can make the children to focus longer and concentrate on subjects. All these are required for the improvement of academics. It helps to increase the positive energy in their mind and body. Techniques like MSRT in yoga helps to balance their emotion with growing age.

Bhagavad-Gita Chanting

Daily reading (reciting) of Bhagavad-Gita can change the student life. It is well known that Bhagavad-Gita is universally renowned as the “Jewel of India’s spiritual wisdom” practice of tolerance and forgiveness can be achieved. It purifies mind and soul but also gives us the strength to face uncertainties and failures. It makes us polite and humble at the time of success.

Understanding the essence of Bhagavad-Gita can inspire children and can help children to cultivate good values. Students from Grade-1 to Grade-10 Chant Bhagavad-Gita.
