MAJOR EVENTS COVERED IN ACADEMIC YEAR 2020-21

To understand the importance and benefits of yoga in life, yoga day was celebrated on 21st June student actively participated in mass yoga conducted in our school.

Greencolour represents new beginning, nature happiness and harvest. Envirnoment day/Green day was celebrated on 26.06.2019. Trees were made with the hand paper, activity n thumb printing was conducted, a session was conducted on saving water and nature. Planting the seeds in a container was done to show them how sprouts shoot up at the beginning.

Fathers day is an important event. It is the time to acknowledge the contribution of fathers to the family and society. It is an opportunity to express love and respect for their for their fathers.

Fathers day was celebrated at the academic year. Our kindergarten children gifted their fathers with the tie prepared by the teachers.

Colour is nothing but light. Colours are very much required for life so as the light. Each colour has its own significance. Keeping in view, Our school nursery section celebrated colours day on different days. Children were made to understand the same. Nursery children and all the teachers of RPES JSPS wore respective colour dresses on respective days.

Pink day: Pink represents trust, feeling of security. On 12.07.2019 Pink day was celebrated, and students did candy of pink colour with ice cream ticks & pink colour paper flowers.

White day: White is the colour of purity and peace. On 02.08.2019 white day was celebrated. Magic sticks were made by the teachers to the children as a take away gift.

Blue day: Blue is associated with Lord Krishna. It is acolour of universe with stability and depth. This day was celebrated on 06.09.2019 by kindergarten students on concept of saving the water. Band with the droplet were made.

Yellow day:Colour of honour, wisdom, scared and energy is recognized with the colour yellow. On 08.11.2019 yellow day was celebrated. All the little toddlers wore yellow dress. Yellow colour balloon were given as a gift to all the children.

Red day: Red is a sign of energy, prosperity and commitment. To mark this day on 06.12.2019 red day was celebrated and spider man mask were made by the teachers as a take away gift.

Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August. All the Dignitaries, MC members, head on the institution, staff and students of RPES participated in the function. Children sang the patriotic song.

Raksha Bhndan was celebrated on 16.08.2019 by tyingrakhi to the boys from the girls. Sweets were distributed and arathi was done with singing songs as it marks the celebration of relationship between siblings.

Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in the school on 26.08.2019. This day is considered as a incarnation of Lord Vishnu. i.e. 8thavathar (Birthday of Lord Krishna). Kinder garten children were dressed as krishna’s and radha’s in our school. It was a feast to the eyes. Bhajans, shlokas were sung in the class room. Decoration was done with lights and flowers. Pooja was done for Krishna idol.

All the RPES employees’ family members we invited for the family get together on 14.09.2019 as a part of Golden Jubliee celebration. All the Management members, staff and family members enjoyed one another's company and actively took part in games like:

• Recognizing the society logo, Memory game were conducted for MC members of RPES society.
• Bomb in the city, arranging the pyramids with cups, blasting the balloons,making chain using rubber bands and safety pins was conducted for the family members and staff of RPES.

It is a tradition practiced during the dasara festivities the dolls are adorned through ritual worship. To inculcate the importance of festivities and to develop the spirit of festivals Gombe Habbbawas celebrated in the school in October.

Gandhi Jayanthi & Lal Bahadur shastri Jayanthi was celebrated on 2nd October.

Prof.R.Revanna, Litterateur, Member of RPES was the chief guest of the function.All the Dignitaries, MC members, head on the institution, staff and students of RPES participated in the function.Children were asked to wear khadi dress.Students actively performed a skit on swatch Bharath and other programmes were conducted.

Transport plays an important role in the growth of economy and globalization. To teach the children about the transportation, An exhibition was organized on 25.10.2019 in the school premises. Parents also contributed in preparing models. Teachers displayed the models in a fantastic way. Whole school viewed the exhibition. All means of transportation, traffic rules, importance of wearing helmet were thought.

Several activities was conducted on Kannada Rajyotsava on 04.11.2019 in school assembly like singing Nadageethe, reading news paper in kannada and reading personality of famous persons of Karnataka etc.

Classroom activities like singing songs in kannada, skits and quiz on Karnataka state, poster making was conducted on the same day .

Jubilees are occasions to be celebrated, to recall the marvelous ways in which the institution has fulfilled its mission in imparting education, moral and spiritual values, and discipline to help build leaders who will bring about a culture of peace and love which our society and country needs today. They also provide an opportunity to reflect on the past achievements of the institution as well as introspect on the preparations to meet the challenges that lie ahead.

RPES celebrated its Golden jubilee on 23.11.2019. To make the celebration more colourful, cultural and to maintain co-curricular activities, we organized interschool competition for students.

Constitution day of India was celebrated on 26.11.2019. It marks 70th anniversary of the adoption of constitution. It is also called National law day. Speech was organized by Mrs.Roopa - Rajajinagar corportator.

Christmas day was celebrated on 23.12.2019 by cutting the cake, distributing of chocolates were done. Children watched movie in the activity room.

Makara Sansranti was celebrated by wishing everybody and distributing sweets (Yellu Bella). Posters were made and displayed on the notice board. Kites were made by the students in the classrooms and flying was done in the playground. Songs were sung for the birds to come back after migration.
